Early 19th century
En grisaille, the central panel depicting two classically draped figures in a landscape and flanked by two further panels, one depicting a classically draped female feeding lion cubs and another possibly depicting Pandora, within egg and dart tromp l'oeil borders, body colour on paper laid down on canvas
The central panel -- 73½ x 46 in. (187 x 117 cm.); the two side panels -- 72½ x 22¾ in. (187 x 58 cm.) (3)
