CIRCA 1770, THE FIRST WITH BLUE OPEN CRESCENT MARK
The first decorated in the atelier of James Giles, painted to the centre with a classical urn garlanded with flowers within a border of anthemion and bellflowers, the border gilt with fruiting vines; the other plate gilt in the Chinese style with a central flower surrounded by stylised fronds and flowers
