MAKER'S MARK INDISTINCT, ?.B, LONDON, DATE LETTER INDISTINCT, 1764 OR 1766
With gadroon rim, beaded rat-tail down scroll handle, sides embossed with fruit and flowers on a matted ground, vacant rococo cartouche to front, a lozenge-shaped pedestal foot; also a George II sugar caster, maker's mark indistinct, ?W, London, 1727, later engraved with flowers, cover apparently unmarked; and four George II/III salts, three on shell and hoof feet, one on mask and shell feet, with floral chased sides, three by David Hennell, London, 1752, one by Samuel Meriton, London, 1772
