The firm J.W. Charlton, founded in 1909 on Fifth Avenue, and latterly known as Charlton & Co. was one of America's renowned Art Deco jewellers. By 1930, they had additional branches in Palm Beach, Florida and in the famous rue de la Paix, Paris. This particular piece is a perfect example of the jewels for which they were famed: clean, wearable and stylish.
