The serpentine twin-flap top with an ebonised moulded edge above a frieze drawer to each end, formerly with one frieze drawer and a false drawer now adapted, and flanked by fan paterae-headed square tapering legs terminating in brass caps and castors, one drawer bearing a label for 'Morant & Co./91, New Bond Street, 273', the other bearing a label for 'The Colony Shops/Ginsburg & Levy/Incorporated/Antiques/815 Madison Ave. New York'
