CIRCA 1775, IMPRESSED FACTORY MARK 'H. PALMER' TO BASALT PLINTH
Sponged in blue, the raised ornament enriched in gilding, the shoulders applied with stylised handles modelled as helmeted female masks linked by a simple foliage garland and centred by pendant oval medallions of Cleopatra above scrollwork and stiff leaf borders, mounted on square black basalt plinth
