A FINE PAPUAN GULF FIGURE
Wapo Creek or Era River Area, New Guinea Bioma, of flat form standing on curved legs, the arms upraised, the oval face with circular eyes in relief, the upturned mouth recessed, circular ears, the body, arms and legs carved all over with motifs in relief, painted white and reddish brown.
