Lot Essay

With their lozenge backs, these chairs are very similar to the various sets of chairs supplied by Lorenz Wilhelm Lindelius to Rosendal around 1825. However, various small differences in the construction and the mounts suggest that these may have been made in one of the Baltic states and possibly Finland.
