The rectangular moulded top with a frieze drawer to either side carved with foliage and the initials 'JM', on trestle-end supports carved with scrolling foliate, fish-scale and honey-comb motifs, joined by an arcaded spiral-balustrade stretcher, on brass castors, both locks stamped 'VR PATENT' beneath a crown
