Contemporary calf, spine tooled in blind, red leather label (rebacked preserving much of the original spine, some repairs, label chipped). Provenance: a nineteenth century collector (paper label on spine) -- L. M. Savelov (stamps, numbered IV/265).
FIRST EDITION. From the collection of Leonid Mikhailovich Savelov, with his stamp. Catherine's collected decrees for 1766 include her 'Declaration on newly-established Tariffs for 1767', 'Instructions for Surveying', 'Short Instructions on the Upbringing of Children', 'Decree on the Imperial Shlakhta Cadet's Corps', 'On Healing Mineral Waters', 'On the sale of French Vodka', and others. Ivask, vol. 1, pp.248-9; SK 7487.
