A Cloisonne Hanging Vase, Meiji Period (1868-1912)
worked in colourful enamels and silver wire, the shoulder with a wide band of kiku and karakusa to which three bamboo shaped handles are attached, another larger band of panels below, containing bats, phoenix and dragon fish, the base with a variety of chrysanthemum and butterflies -- approx. 7in. (18cm.) high
