the box of wood and the cover set within a wood frame and worked in bone and inlaid in mother-of-pearl and coral with some painted details of a bird on a perch and a spray of wisteria, sealed; the inro of ivory with similar inlay as well as tortoiseshell with sprays of flowers; the cover of the kogo with an eagle resting on a flowering plum tree, the box with insects and flowers -- the box 5 5/16 x 3 x 7 1/8in.
