A Group of Imari and Arita Ware, 18th Century
an octagonal bowl decorated in various enamels and gilt on underglaze blue, with a fenced look-out above the sea, sprays of plum and peony, the reverse with panels of birds and flowers; a pair of decagonal dishes in underglaze blue with karashishi, peony and rockwork, chocolate rim, Kin mark to the reverse; and two foliate rimmed bowls with a 'Dejima Island' style landscape, a floret to the centre, Kotobuki mark to the base -- 6¼, 8 3/16 and 4¾in. (16 x 20.8 x 12cm.) diam. (5)
