decorated in typical enamels and gilt, the body with two panels depicting samurai below a golden phoenix, each side flanked by a dragon holding tasseled rings, the cover with a large seated shishi, the whole on a stand of typical geometric and mon designs, the latter signed Dai Nippon Teikoku Nishida zo -- circa 51½in.
