A Satsuma Koro signed Gyokuzan, Meiji Period (1868-1912)
decorated in typical enamels and gilt, and moulded with a band of lappets along the rim shaped in the form of a drape of textile with shishi, beneath this the body decorated with flowering cherry and plum trees and bamboo, the cover pierced with sacred pearls and clouds, the finial a rabbit -- 4in. (10cm.) high
