a concertina album, containing twelve woodblock prints highlighted in silver of ladies and children at leisurely activities on terraces, riverbanks and seashores, in interiors and in gardens -- each print 9½in. x 14in. (24.1cm. x 35.5cm.) including margins, with hardback cloth covered ends, with card attached to last page reading 'Best wishes for coming year, Commander- Constructor Buyata Iwata, Imperial Japanese Navy, 18 Manor Place, Paddington Green, London, W.'; and twelve text and guide books variously illustrated by Noel Nouet, Kawase Hasui and further print artists and with numerous black and white photographs of old Japan.
