FOUR PALE CELADON JADE CARVINGS, 18TH AND 19TH CENTURY
comprising a jade handled gilt metal mounted knife, the handle of hexagonal section, the scabbard of long five sided form, the metal mounts with attached loose ring -- 5in. (12.7cm) long; and three further carvings, a peach group with monkeys around a large central peach; two figures huddled close together, one holding a fruiting peach spray; and a stylised mandarin duck, with angular beak incised geometric designs to the wings, clutching a lotus blossom in its mouth.
