A CELADON DEEP BOWL, 15TH/16TH CENTURY
with steep slightly curved sides, the exterior moulded with slender petals radiating from the foot rim, and the interior carved with a stylised flower head at the centre and a band of key-fret below the rim, all under an olive glaze pooling to a deeper tone in the areas of lowest relief and thinning at the rim -- 8¼ in. (21 cm.) diam.
