A GROUP OF FOUR WHITE AND PALE CELADON JADE CARVINGS, 18TH CENTURY AND LATER
comprising a white jade buddhistic lion with mane, beard and bushy tail, wood stand; a pale celadon coiled snake hissing with its tongue; a white jade boy playing with a double gourd and flowering branch, wood stand; and a white jade group of two tumbling boys, with a square section perforation through the centre, probably designed as a belt-toggle, wood stand -- The first, 1 5/8in. (4.1cm.) high. (4)
