A BRONZE MODEL OF A SEATED BUDDHISTIC FIGURE, MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
seated in dhyanasana, wearing long robes that fold over the sides of the figures raised platform, strings of beaded jewellery to his neck and with an ornate headdress, a phoenix atop scrolling clouds to the figures left side, all raised upon a rectangular four support stand -- 15½in. (39.5cm.) high.
