Allen/who also painted the East Window/of Lowestoft Church'; see also Geoffrey A. Godden, Lowestoft Porcelains (London, 1985), p. 175, pl. 215 for a teabowl and saucer from the same service. Transactions, Vol. 12, Pt. 3 (1986), pp. 250-254, where he mentions the Potter service made for the Reverend Robert Potter (1721-1804), Vicar of Lowestoft from 1789.
