A HANNOVERSCH MÜNDEN HEN AND CHICKENS TUREEN AND COVER
CIRCA 1780
Naturally modelled as a nesting hen with a chick forming the finial and three chicks beside her, her wing and tail feathers and head outlined in manganese, on a fixed stand, the shaped rim with a border of blue C-scrolls (small repaired rim chips to tail, one wing, three beaks and rim of base and stand, glaze repair to breast and head of one chick)
