CIRCA 1730, BLUE AR MARK, INCISED X TO FOOTRIM
Of baluster form, probably painted by A. Dietze with figures and attendants below birds and insects within shaped oval cartouches, garlanded with indianische Blumen, the plain cylindrical neck gilt with scrolls and pendant husk ornament below a thick line, the domed cover with similar smaller panels of single figures, the onion finial with gilt flowerhead and scroll ornament (overpainted and lacquered just above foot, finial restored through base, minute chip to inner flange and minute scratch to ground on cover, slight wear to gilding)
