Details
Château Mouton-Rothschild--Vintage 1993
Pauillac, 1er cru classé
Tasting Note: First noted in April 1995 : deep, youthfull ruby ; fruit and oak with strange minty, herbal, honeyed, rustic smell ; lightish style, attractive. The following November at the opening of Les Arts du Vin Exhibition in Brussels, some flesh but very tannic and absolutely unready for drinking. After a further two years, settling down to be a good mouthful, developing some of its inimitable spicy nose and sweetness. But not a long-haul wine. November 1997. *** M.B.
