Fender of Fame
1959 Fender Musicmaster guitar signed by over 170 musicians. Each signature was acquired directly from the artists by a gentleman who worked security for the Black Mountain Music Festival in North Carolina, over a period of 15 years. The front of the guitar has been meticulously carved with a horse design and embellishments, while the every other possible space (including the pickguard) is meticulously autographed by dozens of music's biggest names, including: Stevie Ray Vaughan, Elton John, David Bowie, Carl Perkins, Jeff Beck, Dizzie Gillespie, David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash, Neil Young, Lou Reed, Sting, Aretha Franklin, Johnny Cash, Chuck Berry, Peter Frampton, B.B. King, Billy Joel, Joe Walsh, Bonnie Raitt, Leon Russell, Todd Rundgren, Timothy Leary, Don Henley, Ginger Baker, Dick clark, Joan Baez, Jackson Browne, Joe Cocker, Willie Nelson, Melissa Etheridge, Kris Kristofferson, Iggy Pop, David Byrne, Phil Lesh, Dave Mason, Grace Slick, Bo Diddley, Mick Ronson, Duff McKagen and dozens more. A complete list of all signatures is available upon request.The guitar is accompanied by copies of tickets to events where the guitar was signed and an episode of Antiques Roadshow on which the guitar was featured.
