For the identification of the coats of arms of the lady see U. Jahne, Geschichte der Westphälischen Geschlechter, 1858, p. 195. Elisabeth was a daughter of Herbert von Haren zu Hopen and Margreth von Schade zu Thorst. The arms of her parents are depicted among those of Elisabeth's ancestors on the reverse of the sheet, including the families Stael, Von Dincklage, Von Oher, Von Fülle, Von Langen, Weddesche, Von Middachte, Von Haren zu der Krollage, Monnich, Von Haberch, Von Schnet, and Von Knehem.

Die Wappen der Eltern Elisabeth von Harens sind auf der Rückseite zusammen mit denen weiterer Vorfahren dargestellt.
