Circa 1810-1815, blue sceptre marks and indistinct incised marks
The cup reserved with a central oval faux pietra-dura medallion of the Doves of Pliny within a beaded surround reserved on a faux micro-mosaic ground, below a banded rim, the interior of the cup enriched in gilt, the C-scroll handle with gilt scale, the conforming saucer with a displaying butterfly within radiating chased gilt panels
