Further details
In 'Les Demoiselles d'Avignon vues de Derriere' Patrick Caulfield humorously revisits Picasso's iconic painting. He reverses the view point so that we see the figures, in all their cubist glory, from behind, making a visual pun on the printing process which reverses the image, and a verbal pun on the French word 'derrière' or 'bottom'.
