And another copy of the first book. At the time when eclecticism was spreading in Italy, the milanese architect and writer Carlo Amati advocated a return to Vitruvian principles, producing a series of publications devoted to Vignola, Vitruvius, Roman antiquities in Milan, and on archaeology. (3)
