The funnel bowl engraved with a tied medallion depicting the portrait of P.C. Hooft flanked by the coat-of-arms of Amsterdam and revolutionary insignia, the reverse inscribed die uyt geen dwang nog zelfbelang zijn zugt tot vrijheyt dooft die drinkt ter Eer der Braave heer den Burgervader Hooft 23 juny 1794, the stem enclosing spiralling whith opaque corkscrew around a gauze core, the foot domed Circa 15cm. high
