MARK OF CORNELIUS JANSZ VAN DER BURCH, DELFT, 1604
The circular bowl chased with alternating shells and bunches of flowers, all within strapwork and on matted ground, the centre chased with a coat-of-arms, the domed foot chased with putto masks and bunches of flowers on a textured ground, the knopped stem applied with grotesque buttresses and flowers and with further suspended tapering drops, engraved under the base 'Anno 1604', marked under rim, the rim further struck with later Dutch tax marks
5 7/8 in. (14.8 cm.) high
7 3/8 in. (18.8 cm.) diam.

The arms are those of van der Dussen, Delft.
