Each shaped circular and on four openwork foliage feet, with foliage and shell heightened reeded rim, engraved with a coat-of-arms, each marked underneath, further stamped 'GARRARDS Panton Street LONDON'

The arms are those of Dickins quartering Scrase impaling Compton, for Charles Scrase-Dickens of Coolhurst, co. Sussex (1794-1875) and his wife Lady Frances (d.1883), daughter of Charles 1st Marques of Northampton (1760-1828), whom he married in 1829. (2)
