1784-1790, marked Amstel in underglaze blue
Decorated with landscape vignettes depicting various maritime scenes with a multitude of vessels and wayfarers on the shore, the border gilt with ovals and trailing leaves, comprising: one cylindrical teapot and cover, with branch spout and geometrical handle, the cover en suite with acorn finial - 13cm. high; one sugarbowl and cover, the cover en suite with acorn finial - 11cm. high; one cylindrical milkjug, with generous spout and geometrical handle - 11cm. high; a pair of two-handled circular pierced ajour baskets (one cracked) - 14cm. wide; one two-handled oval pierced ajour basket - 16.5cm. wide; one brothbowl - 22cm. diam. and eleven teabowls and saucers (minor chips) (18)
