Tasting note: Not a deep colour. A real earthy, smoky nose that bears some resemblance to La Tâche. Wet stones and gravel. Less silky than usual but with fresh acidity. Assured wine. Cherry and a touch of green bell pepper. Then the finish reverts back to the "normal" Romanée-St.-Vivant - smooth and velvety. Great length. Excellent. Tasted February 2005. (94-96) points.
