Louis Roederer Cristal--Vintage 1989
Tasting note: First noted in April 1997 at the 'Winefest' in Sarasota: surprisingly pale with very fine, pinhead bubbles; slightly crusty (bread), refined; medium-dry, firm, fine long on palate, very good acidity. The following year, gaining colour, similar nose, good, mature flavour. Last noted in Singapore, Jan 1998 **** Well nigh perfect now but time in hand. Michael Broadbent, Vintage Wine
