Tasting note: In the latter half of the 1960s and through the 1970s this was the 'star' of the sale room. I described the wine as 'like a great diva, world renowned but not unsuillied'. I have over 20 notes. It always seemed on the brink. Fleshy, often corrupt, always exciting. And always with the inimitable Mouton Cabernet fragrance. Last tasted May 1989. At best *****.
