'BOEUF ENRUBANNE', A PATINATED BRONZE SCULPTURE BY FRANCOIS POMPON, DESIGNED IN 1930, CAST POST-MORTEM IN 1950
This bronze is one of two examples. The second has been in the Musee des Beaux-Arts de Dijon, France, since 1948 and prior to this in the Musee Pompon (founded in 1934)
This lot will be sold with a certificate of authentication from Mrs. Liliane Colas

Le plâtre de ce modèle est conservé au Musée d'Orsay et porte au-dessous de la terrasse la mention au crayon '2 ép.'. L'autre épreuve est conservée au Musée des Beaux-Arts de Dijon depuis 1948 et provient des collections du Musée Pompon, fondé en 1934.
Ce lot sera vendu avec un certificat d'authenticité de Madame Liliane Colas
