both with illegible workmaster's initials, 1908-1917
The shashka, curved, with niello and silver-mounted hilt with hooked bifurcated pommel, the velvet scabbard with en suite mounts, together with a Caucasian kinjal with similar mounts on the velvet scabbard, the blade with Cyrillic initials 'KKV' for Kuban Cossack Voisko on one side and Cyrillic initials 'ZOF' for Zlatoust Armoury Factory

Lot Essay

A rather interesting and rare set as both weapons are further engraved on the reverse with the Cyrillic initials I.L. which proved that the set belonged to the same person.
