The silver and silver-gilt pointed star set with paste diamonds enclosing a central medallion surmounted by an Imperial crown and centered by a red guilloché cross within wide red guilloché band set with the motto of the Order: Amantibus justiam pietatem, fidem, 'For Lovers of Justice, Pity and Fidelity', with a hinged pin on the reserve, apparently unmarked; the badge of traditional shape extensively set with paste diamonds, in a original fitted box, the cover stamped with F. Butz joailler de la Cour St. Peterburg surmounted by the Imperial eagle; together with a stylized silver and enamel star of the Order of St. Anne, designed to imitate a star set with diamonds, the reverse with a screw
