A rare rectangular snuff-box, the hinged cover with a cut cornered reserve painted with dancing peasants, the blue ground border, sides and base with gilt foliate scroll and vine at each corner, the sides and base each with a cream ground cartouche containing a gilt floral spray within a gilt scroll border; a small cylindrical box, the detachable cover painted with a coachman; a barrel-shaped box depicting a wanderer; a rectangular box with rounded corners, the hinged cover painted with three peasants at table, playing music, all marked inside covers; and four studs painted with peasants, apparently unmarked
