The panel coming from the Deisis register of an Iconostasis, the saint turning to the left where the image of Christ would be; his chest bare, clad only with a deep red himation, wearing half-calf boots, blessing and carrying three staffs, the image rendered in mild, mostly earthen colours, the inscriptions in the background and halo in gold
