A RU-TYPE PEACH-SHAPED BRUSHWASHER, XI
YONGZHENG PERIOD (1723-1735)

The naturalistically modelled shallow peach-shaped vessel with the stalk, leaves and one small peach forming a handle at one side, covered overall with a thick, opaque grayish-green glaze thinning around the edges of the pointed leaves and gnarled stem to reveal the dark body underneath, the base with ten spur marks encircling an unglazed circular disc
