QING DYNASTY, EARLY 18TH CENTURY

Fluidly carved in the round and reticulated as five bats of differing sizes with outspread wings intervolved enclosing a loose small pearl-like sphere, their angular faces with pointed ears emerging from beneath the curled tips of the wings
