The god depicted nude but for sandals (preserved on his left foot) and a mantle draped over his left arm and lower body, standing in contrapposto with his weight on his right leg, the left relaxed and bent at the knee, his left arm at his side with the elbow bent, his youthful musculature well defined, with long wavy locks flowing over the front of his shoulders, fillet ties descending to the sides, atop a partially-preserved integral plinth, a vertical support decorated with spiraling grape vines and clusters
