Each with a hoop of spiral twisted wire tapering to a plain wire at each end, a shield joined to the hoop, a protruding knob at the center, enclosed within a border of twisted wire, a fixed pendant below of seven hollow spheres, ornamented with inverted granulated pyramids; modern gold earwires joined to the hoop
