Gilt-finished chain fusée movement with verge escapement, turned cylindrical pillars, pierced and engraved cock, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic numerals, finge gold beetle and poker hands, the finely detailed case with painted enamel plaque to the back depicting a pastoral scene with a young lady and a gentleman courting, the border with raised foliage decoration interspersed with seed pearls, with outer protective gold and glazed case, case stamped G&M, dial and movement signed
