Accompanied by report no. 17424148 dated 23 June 2008 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the 8.26 carat diamond is D colour, internally flawless clarity
Also accompanied by note no. 0809634 dated 16 September 2008 from the Gübelin Gemmological Laboratory stating that diamonds are classified into two fundamental groups and this 8.26 carat diamond is classified as a type IIa which are chemically very pure and do not reveal infrared absorption characteristics related to nitrogen
