A RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT AND CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL SPOON
MAKER'S MARK IM (CYRILLIC), PROBABLY FOR IVAN MOROZOV, MOSCOW, CIRCA 1890
The cream ground bowl edged with white beads and decorated with a stylised eagle within a surround of flowers in shaded enamels principally pink, green, orange and black, with scrolling enamel decoration along three-quarters of the length of the stem and capped by a pine cone finial -- 7 3/8 in. (18.8 cm.) long; together with another silver-gilt and cloisonne enamel spoon, mark of G.M (Cyrillic), 1896/1908, the bowl decorated with an eagle within floral surround in shaded enamels principally pinks, blues and greens, on a frosted gilt ground with turquoise blue bead border, the spirally-fluted stem with green and blue enamel panels and knop finial -- 7¾ in.
