MARK OF NIKOLAI ALEXEEV, MOSCOW, CIRCA 1890
The bowl decorated with polychrome shaded flowers, rushes and scrolling foliage against a gilt matt ground, turquoise blue bead border, the spiral-twist stem with panels of geometric decoration in white, green, red and two shades of blue, the ball finial with scrolling cloissons on a turquoise blue ground; together with a small Russian silver-gilt and cloissoné enamel kovsh, mark of Vasiliy Agafonov, St. Petersburg, 1896/1908 with polychrome shaded foliage amidst blue beads, white bead border, silver interior (2)
