Lot Essay

Jacques-François Le Mire bacame maître in 1727 and was based in the Rue St.-Louis from 1737 and in the Rue aux Fèves from 1748. He colaborated with sevaral important ébénistes, such as François Lieutaud, to whom he supplied the movement for a cartel clock, embellished with vernis Martin.
